Partner Structure Update
In line with our usual approach to keeping clients informed, we wish to make clients aware that Addlington-West Group is no longer part of the partner referral structure connected with Addlington-West Legal. This follows the recent sale of Addlington-West Group as a going concern, with its founder stepping back from day-to-day business activity due to ill health.
The founder of Addlington-West Group has a long and successful background in the financial and claims sectors. His career began in the City of London in 1986, where he worked across small-cap markets, derivative trading and corporate finance. Over time, he became increasingly aware of poor practice within parts of the financial sector, including high-pressure commission structures and turnover targets that too often worked against the interests of clients.
In 2012, he founded Mis-Sold Shares to help give a voice to people affected by mis-selling. Mis-Sold Shares was created to help clients seek redress through the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. To date, Mis-Sold Shares has recovered more than £40 million for clients and helped thousands of people pursue compensation they were legally due.
He later founded Addlington-West Group and grew it into a highly regarded claims management business, achieving a 95 per cent success rate across the claims it handled. The sale of Addlington-West Group marks a personal and professional transition after many years of work within the sector.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the founder of Addlington-West Group for his contribution over many years and wish him all the very best as he steps back from day-to-day business activity. His work has helped many clients pursue the redress they were entitled to and we recognise the commitment he has shown throughout his career.
